Obituary: Leatha M. Old

Leatha May Old was born in Reno, Nevada to Evelyn Marie and Fred Woods Halbouer Jr.

She was first married to Eugene Herman Hawks in Fallon, Nevada in 1951. She later married Donald M. Old in 1969. Leatha worked for Sears and Roebuck in Reno, Nevada as a credit manager.

Leatha and Don retired in 1979. They lived and traveled to Montana and Arizona. Leatha and Don traveled to many states, national parks, as well as Canada and Europe. Leatha's hobbies included: golf, fishing, sewing, painting and gardening.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Don; and daughter, Donna Marie.

She is survived by her son, Eugene Andrew Hawks; her daughter, Laura Lea Hawks White; and a brother, Phillip Craig. She has ten grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 3, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Quail Run Retirement Community off Fairview Dr. in Carson City, Nevada.
