Obituary: Joyce D. Farnia-Reed

Joyce D. Farina-Reed, age 70 of Minden, Nevada passed away at home with her family on Friday February 22nd, 2013, after a 2 year battle with cancer.

Joyce was born on January 26th, 1943 in Alameda, California. The daughter of the late (Vincent J. Farina and Rose M. Farina). Survived by her husband (Delward G. Reed), son (Vincent G. Harris), daughter in-law (Leetta M. Harris) and granddaughter (Raquel A. Harris).

Joyce and Del have been married for 25 years. They retired from Lockheed Missile Space Co. in Sunnyvale CA. in 1993. They moved to Minden, NV in 1993 to enjoy the peace and quiet of wide open spaces and clear skies.

Joyce's greatest Love was her husband Del and family. She was well known for her dedication to God and church. Spending time with her Best friend from high-school Diane Simpson, home cooking and weekly Bible study were her life-long enjoyments! You were dearly Loved and will be missed.
