Wilma E. Dunn 90 of Carson City passed peacefully and comfortably on Dec. 31, 2012. She was born Oct. 4, 1922 in Ruth, Nev. to William and Florence Maddaford.
Wilma and her husband were charter members and prior officers of the Silver Sage Sams, where they enjoyed many outings. Wilma will be remembered as a proud native Nevadan, her joy of watching her girls play softball, her favorite Canasta games with her friends and how she knew no strangers.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ivy Shannon, and her husband, the love of her life, Jim. She is survived by her sisters, Marian Miles and Joyce Maddaford; her daughter, Judy Grenade; her daughter, Linda Stephan (David); her son, Jim Dunn (Janie); 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She will also be dearly missed by her companion and beloved kitty "cuddles" and her many many friends.
At the request of Wilma, there will not be a funeral or any services. Those that wish, can donate to their favorite charity in Wilma's honor.
