Mary O'Brien has been named development director at The Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum.
O'Brien was the executive director of Ronald McDonald House Charities from 1991 to 2008. She also served as development director for the Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation and fundraising specialist for a variety of nonprofit organizations.
O'Brien studied at California State University-Sacramento and at the University of Nevada, Reno.
