Nevada Appeal Staff Report

A pickup drove into the corner of a garage in the 3000 block of Imperial Way early Saturday morning.

The person who reported the crash told deputies he was standing in his garage, smoking, when he heard a loud noise followed by the truck coming through the garage door and wall around 1:20 a.m. The witness described the truck for deputies and said it sped off, south, on Imperial Way, according to the police report.

Deputies located a gray truck with extensive damage to its left front side parked in the parking lot of 3330 Imperial Way, parked in a space designated for one of the apartments. Deputies knocked on the apartment's door and Larry Boyce, 23, answered, according to the report.

Boyce told deputies he was driving home from Bully's and "I crashed into a home," according to the report, before driving home and climbing into bed.

Boyce was arrested on charges of DUI, hit and run, failure to report and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail was set at $3,548.
