Carson CityThe following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent unless proved guilty in court:FRIDAY• 7:51 a.m.: An 18-year-old Dayton man was arrested at Fifth and Roop streets on a charge of violation of a restraining order. Bail: $1,137.• 1:15 p.m.: A 33-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at Brown Street and U.S. Highway 50 East on a failure-to-appear traffic warrant and on a charge of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Bail: $961.• 2:10 p.m.: Kyle Carpenter, 25, and Orion Tovar, 42, both of Carson City, were arrested at U.S. Highway 50 East and Brown Street. Carpenter was arrested on a charge of armed robbery and Tovar was arrested on a charge of conspiracy to commit robbery. According to the victim and their statements, Carpenter sat down in the passenger seat of the victim’s car while Tovar stood at the driver’s door and Carpenter demanded $120. Carpenter allegedly threatened the victim with a chainlock or a padlock connected to a piece of cloth to be swung was a weapon.Carpenter’s bail and Tovar’s bail were set at $40,000.SATURDAY• 1:41 a.m.: Sarah Nicholson-Jones, 34, of Carson City was arrested in the 200 block of Tacoma Street after she allegedly crashed into two parked vehicles. She was arrested on charges of DUI, driving on a suspended license, no proof of insurance, driving on an expired registration and failure to maintain a single lane. When deputies attempted to draw blood from her, she allegedly kicked two deputies, one in the abdomen and leg, the other in the abdomen. She was additionally booked on two counts of battery on a police officer. Bail: $5,145.• 2:54 a.m.: Joseph Pinkerton, 50, was arrested on North Carson Street on a charge of DUI. Bail: $1,137.• 9:10 a.m.: Danny Beason, of Carson City, was arrested on a Carson domestic-battery warrant. Bail: $3,000.• 1:24 p.m.: A 20-year-old Reno man was arrested at U.S. Highway 50 East and South Carson Street on a Reno failure-to-comply warrant and on a charge of speeding. Bail: $1,127.• 8:05 p.m.: Jonathan Jenkins, 31, of Carson City was arrested in the 2000 block of Jodi Lane on a charge of battery domestic violence. Bail: $3,137.• 11 p.m.: Jared Page, 36, was arrested in the 300 block of North Carson Street on charges of battery and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and on a Sparks petit-larceny warrant and a Sparks failure-to-appear warrant. Bail: $2.852.• 11:06 p.m.: Kellie Karasek, 30, of Carson City was arrested at Carson and Colorado streets on charges of DUI and failure to maintain a travel lane. Bail: $1,224.SUNDAY• 1:45 a.m.: A 68-year-old Carson City man was arrested at Carson and East Telegraph streets on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail: $1,132.• 1:47 a.m.: Travis Gumataotao, 24, of Carson City was arrested in the 1400 block of North Edmonds Drive on charges of battery domestic violence and DUI. Bail: $4,264.• 2:46 a.m.: A 22-year-old Las Vegas man was arrested in the 300 block of North Carson Street on a charge of disorderly conduct. Bail: $237.• 1:36 p.m.: Mitchell Conway, 24, of Carson City was arrested at Carmine Street and Dori Way on a charge of possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription. Bail: $2,500.• 10:56 p.m.: Stephanie Bernhardt, 36, of Carson City was arrested in the 1300 block of Green Drive on a charge of domestic battery strangulation with bail set at $15,000. Bernhardt allegedly began to yell at the victim, pushed him and then bit his hand. When the victim tried to leave and call 911, Bernhardt allegedly blocked his exit. When he called 911, she put him into a headlock and started to choke him, according to the police report.
