Ethel M. Murphy passed away peacefully on Jan. 28, 2013, she enjoyed 95 years of life. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Louis F. Murphy; and daughter, Betsy Peck. She left behind her son, Dennis Murphy, wife, Aleta; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Ethel's life was enriched by a loving family, wonderful friends and supportive neighbors. Ethel spent many years volunteering at the Carson City Library satisfying her love for books and for many years she played bridge weekly with great friends which kept her mind sharp.
Per Ethel's wishes the family will not hold any services, please remember her in your own way.
