“Little Giant” Rotary Steam Fire Engine: Ormsby County has proposed to buy a fire engine. They want the “Little Giant” engine made by the Seneca Falls Manufacturing Company and have ordered the machine. The boiler is to be made boiler iron and is to be covered with German silver and Prince’s metal jacket. It is warranted to raise steam from cold water in from four to six minutes and maintain working pressure of steam for fire duty ... Cost $4,500 in coin.
