Joe and Mary Reeley of Carson City skate at the Pony Express Pavilion at Mills Park on Friday evening during the summer skate night hosted by the Carson City Recreation Division and the sheriff's explorers. The event continues Aug. 2, Aug. 9 and Aug. 16 from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. for $3 per skater. Participants must bring their own skates.
