Lacking proof, Republicans aren’t interested in a debate

Republicans are becoming a party of voters who gain all information from screaming people on the radio or Fox News with lies wrapped in an absurdity swaddled in paranoia. Conspiracies everywhere! Benghazi attacks, affordable health care law, IRS investigations on Tea Party groups. Oh yeah ... Karl Rove’s group should be tax exempt ... right. They devalue teachings of evolution, global warming and education in public schools. They think we are having a debate. No folks, the facts are in: you are wrong. Stuff that cannot be proven and has no evidence should not be debated.

The right sits there in senile dementia with a gangrene heart and rotting brain, grimacing at every reform. They have voted 37 times on the affordable care act, passed 43 bills naming post offices, but no jobs bill and cuts to Planned Parenthood. These Tea Party Republicans are chattering impotently at all things that are decent, frothing, fuming, violently gibbering, going down to their grave in snarling infamy. They are disgraceful, depraved and noxious. They take a victory lap every time they halt progress.

As Americans, we should stand up and support disaster relief, background checks, promote Head Start, Meals on Wheels, invest in medical research and give assistance to the less fortunate. Compromise is not doing what you want, it is doing what is right. We don’t say we can’t afford these things because we can’t afford not to. That would be un-American.
