Kaylene Opperman

Annabelle De Los Angeles

Kaylene Opperman has been named director of the intensive care unit at Northern Nevada Medical Center, and Annabelle De Los Angeles has been named manager of the hospital’s medical, surgical and rehabilitation unit.

Opperman, a registered nurse, previously worked as assistant nurse executive for the Nevada Hospital Association. She has 20 years of nursing experience.

She earned her nursing degree from the University of Phoenix.

De Los Angeles, a registered nurse with 18 years of experience, previously worked as a nurse at Saint Mary’s Medical Center in Reno.

She is a graduate of the Cebu Velez College of Nursing, Cebu City, Philippines.

Kayden West

Kayden West has been named sales manager at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa.

West has more than 21 years of sales management experience commercial, retail and hospitality.

Lisa M. Mullen

Lisa M. Mullen has been hired as a marketing assistant in the Reno office of Raymond James.

Mullen has a background in financial services, including experience in sales, training and market trend analysis.

She earned a bachelor of science degree in interior design from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Nevada Matters management, board

Sadiq Patankar has been named president and chief executive officer of Nevada Matters Inc., and Chip Evans has been named chief operating officer and general manager of the Reno-based media company.

Larry Bigler, a certified public accountant in Reno, was named to the company’s board and will oversee its finances.

Patankar previously was the business development director for Lionbridge, a firm in the software and translation services sector.

Bigler, a longtime accountant and mining executive, serves on the boards of General Metals Corp., Mineral Energy and Technology Corp. and Zephyr Minerals.

Evans also was named to the company’s board.

Mary Ann McAuliffe

Mary Ann McAuliffe has joined the Nevada Museum of Art as director of community giving.

She previously worked as interim executive director and director of development for the American Lung Association in Nevada, and worked as market development manager for the Reno Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in art history from the University of Nebraska.

Mark Sadler

Mark Sadler has been named vice president and chief financial officer of Tahoe Resources Inc.

He previously worked as vice president of metal sales and concentrate marketing for the company.

Sadler’s experience also includes work with Rio Tinto PLC and Glencore Ltd. He joined Tahoe Resources in 2012.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Utah and a master’s degree in business from Westminster College.

He succeeds Jaime Mondragon, who resigned.

Melissa Smith

Melissa Smith has been named provider engagement manager at Saint Mary’s Health Plans.

Smith has worked for Saint Mary’s Health Plans for 18 years, most recently in health care informatics. She has also worked in claims, medical management, operations and health services.

Smith holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Washington State University and master’s degree in business with an emphasis in health care from the University of Colorado, Denver.

Annona Loughnane

Annona Loughnane has named senior financial director for Microsoft Licensing.

Loughnane began her career at Microsoft 10 years ago in Ireland. She became the director of credit for Europe Middle East and Africa in 2005. She had led the Credit Services Operations division of Microsoft for the last three years.

Loughnane has made Treasury and Risk Magazine’s Top 30 financials in corporate America under age of 40.

Charlie Muerhoff

Charlie Muerhoff has been promoted to vice president of technical services for Tahoe Resources Inc.

Muerhoff has worked three years for Tahoe Resources. His 23 years in the industry also includes experience with Hecla Mining Co. and Mine Development Associates.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in geology and geophysics from the University of Missouri-Rolla.

Chad Koffler

Chad Koffler has been promoted to production manager of SERVPRO of Reno East and Central Sparks.

Koffler joined cleanup and restoration company in 2012.

Kevin Danaher

Kevin Danaher, president of Danaher Development International in Reno, has contracted with Today’s Growth Consultants of Minooka, Ill., to market Today’s Growth Consultants’ knowledge-based Web products.

Debra Allec

Debra Allec, account manager and head of public relations at Allegra in Reno, was recognized by the Allegra Network franchise system as one of the company’s top 10 sales performers in North America. Allec also received the company’s Gold Milestone Award for sales excellence.

Andie Wilson

Andie Wilson, a broker with Coldwell Banker Commercial Premier Brokers has earned the company’s Top Nevada Agent award for the 2012. She was selected for the fourth time since 2005.

The Commercial Premier Brokers office also earned the Top Nevada Office award.

Ryan Gilbrech

Ryan Gilbrech, a financial advisor for Morgan Stanley, has been elected to the board of directors of Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation.

SkillUSA judges

Frank Haxton of Digiman Studio in Reno served as chair of the photography competition and Clint Jolly of Great Thyme Catering of Reno served as chair of the culinary competition during this month’s Nevada Leadership and Skills Conference conducted by SkillsUSA. The organization develops leadership and technical skills among high school and college students
