All suspects are innocent unless proved guilty in court:WEDNESDAY• 10:28 a.m.: A 64-year-old Reno woman turned herself in at the Carson City Sheriff’s Office on a Carson unauthorized-communication-with-a-prisoner warrant. Bail: $500.• 5:17 p.m.: Tina Scott, 46, of Washoe Valley was arrested at Industrial Park and Hawaii Circle on suspicion of possession of a firearm by an ex-felon, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, using a cellphone while driving, seat belts required and level 1 trafficking of a controlled substance. Scott was driving while talking on a cellphone held to her ear and was not wearing a seat belt when she was pulled over, according to the arrest report. Bail: $43,561.• 7:37 p.m.: A 42-year-old Carson City man was arrested at the Carson City Jail on a contempt-of-court warrant. Bail: $751. Also, a 19-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on a Carson contempt-of-court warrant. Bail: $500.THURSDAY• Shane Dworak, 35, of Gardnerville was arrested in the 2100 block of East William Street on suspicion of DUI, no valid driver’s license and following too closely. Bail: $1,471.Storey CountyThe following people were booked into the Storey County Jail. All suspects are innocent unless proved guilty in court:• Gudjon Andre Knutson, 41, of Virginia City was arrested on suspicion of DUI, driving unsafely on a mountain highway, no evidence of insurance, seat belts required and registration required.
