The Easter Bunny is in town this week leaving eggs and other treats for Carson-area youngsters.

Meet The Easter Bunny

The Easter Bunny can be found at the Carson Mall from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. today and Saturday. Photos with the Easter Bunny will be available.

Egg-Stravaganza

The second annual Egg-Stravaganza, sponsored by Carson High School, takes place at 10 a.m. Saturday at the high school. The free egg hunt features 12,000 candy-filled eggs with designated zones for toddlers through 11 years and special needs children. Lucky kids who find a golden egg will win a ham. Free pictures are available with a special guest: the Easter Bunny.

Carson City Easter Egg Hunt

The 36th annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Carson City Kiwanis, will take place Saturday at Centennial Park. A special hunt for special needs children begins at 11:30 a.m. with the general hunt starting at noon. The free hunt features more than 12,000 eggs and hundreds of prizes will be ready for finding. Children will also have a chance to meet the Easter Bunny. Centennial Park is located at 5400 Heritage Way, North of Eagle Valley Golf Course. For more information, call Bobby Bean at 775-885-9542.

Lahontan State Recreational Area Easter Egg Hunt

The 18th annual Easter Egg Hunt take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Silver Springs day-use area at Lahontan State Recreation Area. The free hunt will be divided into age groups: 0-5 years, 6-9, and 10-12. Participants are asked to enter the park from U.S. 50 turning onto U.S. 95A, exiting on Fir Avenue.
