‘Handful of Nickels’ burlesque show is set

Tickets are on sale for “A Handful of Nickels” vaudeville and burlesque show set for 7 p.m. June 21 and 2 and 7 p.m. June 22 at Piper’s Opera House, 12 N. B St. in Virginia City.

The show will feature musician and actor Larry Elliott and comedians Jeanette Knight and Michael Seneca. Some material in the show may not be suitable for children. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.

Emblem Club to host Bunco May 21

The Carson City Emblem Club will host an evening of Bunco at 7 p.m. May 21 at the Carson City Elks Lodge, 515 N. Nevada St.
