Rides to North Pole offered on Polar Express

The number of Polar Express train rides on the Virginia and Truckee Railroad has been doubled this year.

The trips are set to the soundtrack of the film “The Polar Express.” They include a trip to the “North Pole,” where Santa will step aboard and greet children.

Tickets are available for rides leaving at 8 p.m. Nov. 24, Dec. 1, Dec. 5 and Dec. 12, as well as 5, 6:30 and 8 p.m. Fridays through Sundays from Nov. 22 through Dec. 22.
