Phillips wins first place in August photo contest

The Carson Valley Photo Club announced results of its monthly contest held in August.

Ralph Phillips won first place for “Pueblo Remembering,” Ron Darr won second for “150 Years of History” and Don Sweezey won third for “Reflections of the Past.”

The Carson Valley Photo Club meets at 6:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at Carson Valley United Methodist Church, 1375 Centerville Lane in Gardnerville.
