Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Drive:

MONDAY: Chicken parmesan, Italian vegetables, fruit cups and apple juice.

TUESDAY: Greek salad with salami, feta cheese and olives, pita bead, pineapple and lemon bars.

WEDNESDAY: Liver and onions or Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, corn tomato vinaigrette and peaches.

THURSDAY: Cheese ravioli, brussels sprouts, berries in a cloud and orange sherbet.

FRIDAY: Loaded turkey sandwiches, barbecue baked potato chips, carrot raisin salad and chocolate pudding.


Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:

MONDAY: Ham and Swiss on whole wheat bread, carrots and peas, Tater Tots and Mandarin oranges.

TUESDAY: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, whole-wheat bread with margarine and peaches.

WEDNESDAY: Barbecue chicken, baked acorn squash, cucumbers in sour cream, biscuits, honey and ambrosia.

THURSDAY: Pork chow mein, steamed rice, chopped spinach, balsamic vinaigrette, wheat bread, apple butter and sliced pineapple.

FRIDAY: Scrambled eggs, bacon, oatmeal, toast with margarine, peaches, V8 and orange juice.


Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane:

MONDAY: Warm shrimp salad, Italian bread, fall mint fruit bowls and lemon poppy seed cake.

TUESDAY: Beef tacos, ranch-style beans, corn and orange rice pudding.

WEDNESDAY: Open-faced hot turkey sandwiches with mashed potatoes and gravy, carrots, cranberry sauce, pasta salad and autumn pumpkin pie cake.

THURSDAY: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, pea salad, carrots au gratin and custard.

FRIDAY: Chicken cassoulet with sausage, Swiss cashew tossed salad, corn bread, V8 and apple crisp.


Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Ave.:

MONDAY: Roma burgers, romaine lettuce, corn on the cob, baked beans and cantaloupe.

TUESDAY: Clam chowder, turkey sandwiches, baby carrots, celery sticks and fresh fruit cups.

WEDNESDAY: Sloppy Joes on whole-wheat hamburger buns, zucchini, Tater Tots, pears with Jell-O and cookies.

THURSDAY: Shrimp fettuccine, herbed vegetable medley, green salad, ranch dressing, garlic breadsticks and strawberry shortcake.

FRIDAY BREAKFAST 9:30: Waffles, strawberry topping, scrambled eggs, ham, V8 and orange juice.


Storey County Senior Citizens Center, corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:

MONDAY: Grilled cheese sandwiches, tomato soup, salad and fruit.

TUESDAY: Beef soft tacos, beans, Spanish rice and watermelon.

WEDNESDAY: Open-faced turkey sandwiches, peas, carrots and salad.

THURSDAY: Chicken pasta primavera, salad and garlic bread.

FRIDAY: French toast, bacon and watermelon.


Yerington Senior Center, 117 Tilson Way:

MONDAY: Beef tacos, beans, corn and orange rice pudding.

TUESDAY: Pork roast, red potatoes, mixed vegetables, garden salad, peaches and gingerbread.

WEDNESDAY: Chicken chow mein, fried rice with broccoli, egg rolls and sherbet cups.

THURSDAY: Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, gravy and vegetables.

FRIDAY BREAKFAST 8:30-9:30: Clam chowder, tuna sandwiches, potatoes, coleslaw and apple strudel.
