Fundraiser for art center is Oct. 6

A fundraiser to help St. Mary’s Art and Retreat Center replace a failing boiler is set for 2:30 to 5 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Gold Hill Hotel.

The boiler will cost $36,000 to replace, according to a news release.

The fundraiser, called “Turn up the Heat — Saving the Boiler at the Arts Center,” will include a wine tasting and art auction.
