The Jazz and Beyond: Carson City Music Festival will hold a kickoff meeting for organizers and potential volunteers 1-3 p.m. Tuesday at the Carson City Chamber of Commerce Conference Room, 1200 S. Carson St., Carson City. This year’s festival is set for Aug. 1-17 at multiple locations in Carson City.
The festival, which began in 2004, is presented by Mile High Jazz Band Association, Carson City and local businesses.
