Sheriff’s Log: Man arrested on suspicion of felony probation violation

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent unless proved guilty in court:

THURSDAY

• 8:49 p.m.: Myron Buckley, 51, of Carson City was arrested in the 1800 block of North Edmonds Drive on suspicion of a felony probation violation and violation of bail conditions. According to Buckley’s arrest report, a Special Enforcement Team deputy saw him drinking a beer at a casino, in violation of his probation agreement. He reportedly had a small amount of marijuana in his jacket sleeve pocket. No bail was set on the felony count. Also arrested was a 33-year-old Carson City man, on suspicion of ex-felon failure to register. According to his arrest report, a sergeant and three deputies were checking on a report of panhandling. A deputy reportedly checked the man’s ID, and he said he lived at the address listed on it. A deputy drove to the address, and a woman living there reportedly said the man hadn’t lived there in more than three months. Bail was set at $150.

• 9:09 a.m.: A 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 3400 block of Otha Street on suspicion of two counts of domestic battery, as well as on suspicion of ex-felon failure to register. Total bail was set at $6,150.

• 3 p.m.: A 25-year-old transient was arrested at Marian Drive and Long Street on two failure-to-appear/traffic warrants, one out of Carson City and one out of Reno. Total bail was set at $1,774.

• 11:12 p.m.: A 35-year-old transient was arrested in the 800 block of North Carson Street on a failure-to-appear/traffic warrant out of New River Township. Bail was set at $500. Also arrested was a 25-year-old Carson City woman, on a failure-to-appear/traffic warrant out of Carson City. Bail was set at $740.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies, violent crimes and DUIs.
