LAS VEGAS — Slot machine operator Bally Technologies has agreed to pay a $125,000 fine for failing to register some of its employees.
The Nevada Gaming Control Board filed a 28-count complaint against the company in December. The settlement was made public this week.
The complaint said that Bally registered its employees weeks, months, and in one case, years late. Nevada law requires gambling companies to register employees before they start work.
Bally was already fined, in 2008, for failing to register workers. The company paid $65,500 for failing to register 56 employees in that case.
