Western Nevada College will offer a hospitality-skills workshop from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Feb. 8 at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Carson City. Participants can learn guest-service skills in the Guest Service Gold Workshop.
Completion of the three-hour workshop can lead to a Certified Guest Service Professional designation.
Linda Barnett, the director of operations for Eagle Hospitality Co., will instruct the class. The fee is $39, which includes materials and certification. The final hour of the workshop is earmarked for certification.
