GE’s Bently Nevada and the Carson Valley Inn are sponsoring the fourth annual Austinpalooza event to benefit Austin’s House, the only children’s emergency shelter in Northern Nevada. The event will run from 2-10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at TJ’s Corral Outdoor Events Center at the Carson Valley Inn, 1627 U.S. Highway 395 North.
The event is headlined by Grammy-nominated performer, The Stray Cat, Lee Rocker. Rocker, who has 23 platinum records to his name, will be performing at 8:30 p.m. This year’s event also will feature local bands, including Lavish Green, the Bootleggers, Seymour’s Trick Bag and The Engineered Disaster.
Tickets with unlimited access are $25 for adults and $15 for children age 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased at http://www.carsonvalleyinn.com/specialevents/Austinpalooza_August_2014.php.
All proceeds from ticket sales benefit Austin’s House.
Beverages will be available for purchase throughout the event. Food will be available for purchase after 5 p.m.
