Titus takes early lead for Assembly District 38

Smith Valley physician Robin Titus has taken the early lead for Assembly District 38 over former Churchill County commissioner Norm Frey.

She holds a 552-vote advantage over Frey.

Early voting results and ballots from Yerington and Smith Valley gave Titus a 1,589-687 lead in Lyon County. Officials are waiting for results from Fernley and Silver Springs.

Frey took Churchill County — 1,398-846.
