Reid excels at California Baptist University

Casey Reid, a 2013 graduate of Carson High School, was named to the president’s honor roll for the first and second semesters at California Baptist University in Riverside, Calif.

Students must hold a 4.0 grade-point average, as well as exemplary citizenship, to make the list.

Reid is majoring in biology with a pre-med emphasis and minoring in chemistry. He is the son of Jim and Julie Reid.

Carson man graduates from Hiram College

Hiram College presented degrees to 298 students, including Carson City’s Joshua Peacock, on May 17 at the College’s 164th commencement ceremony.

Carson grad achieves at UNR

Cody Bull, a 2013 graduate of Carson High School, earned a 4.0 both semesters in his first year at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Ford graduates from University of Hartford

Carson City’s Lindsay Ford graduated from the University of Hartford during its commencement ceremony on May 17.

Ford earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University’s College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions in central Connecticut.
