Several thousand people fill downtown Carson City for the 21st annual Taste of Downtown on Saturday. The event, which features more than 40 local restaurants, is the major fundraiser for Advocates to End Domestic Violence.
Ticket holders at 21st annual Taste of Downtown voted for their favorites, the winners are:
Best Overall: Firkin & Fox
Best Taste: Sassafras
Best Sweet: Carson City Confection
Best Discovery: The Lady Tamales
Best Atmosphere: Comma Coffee
Best Band: The Cutters
Best Shop: Artsy Fartsy
Saturday’s event featured 43 restaurants, eight bands and numerous local shops. All proceeds benefit Advocates to End Domestic Violence.
