Carolyn and John McLain of Carson City celebrated their 50th anniversary on Friday. The couple was married on June 27, 1964, in Havre, Mont.
John is a semi-retired principal and part owner of Resource Concepts, Inc., and works as a range management consultant.
Carolyn is a retired real estate agent with Coldwell Banker.
The McLains, who moved to Carson City in 1975, have two daughters, Nicole (Steve) Melsheimer of Carson City and Tanya (Torrey) Sheets of Reno. They have four grandchildren: Stephanie and Nicholas Melsheimer and Conner and Peyton Sheets.
The pair celebrated with their family at a luau in Maui, Hawaii.
