Dome of the U.S. Capitol: An unknown man performed a feat which chilled the blood of everyone. He ascended to the dome of the Capitol and produced a pair of opera glasses — then mounted the railings and walked around the narrow footing viewing the city and surrounding country. An officer was sent to bring him down and the command was obeyed. The unknown man handed the police officer a card that said “Wainratta, King of Air.”
