A Carson City man died Tuesday after losing control of his motorcycle on I-580 just north of Fifth Street in Carson City.
Trooopers say Kevin Purvis, 33, was heading south just before the Fifth Street off-ramp when he lost control and was thrown from the Honda street bike.
Purvis was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other vehicles involved.
