Secret Witness is offering a $500 award for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with a rash of burglaries in the Fernley and Fallon areas.
Dale Edwards of Secret Witness said in a press release burglaries have occurred in the Fernley and Fallon areas. On Friday at about 9:30 p.m. he said a burglary occurred at Robertson & Koenig Optometry in Fernley.
“This was the third time in the past couple of years this business was hit with the only thing taken being men’s Oakley sunglasses,” Edwards stated. “The suspect pried open the back door and was in the business for only two minutes. Edwards said the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
