Nevada Business Connections speakers include state official

Nevada Business Connections, a business development group, is expected to hear from Bruce Breslow of the Nevada Department of Business and Industry next Wednesday.

Also featured at the organization’s breakfast meeting in the Gold Dust West Casino, for which doors open at 7:30 a.m., are Ray Bacon of the Nevada Manufacturers Association and Joseph Dutra, president of Kimmie Candy.

The Carson City-based economic development networking and commerce group splits monthly breakfast meetings between the two Northern Nevada cities and works to lure new business into the area. Kris Holt, NBC executive director said the breakfast session would conclude after pre-breakfast networking and the program from 8 until 9 a.m. at the casino located at 2171 U.S. Highway 50 East.

“It’s going to be a good one,” he said. He said the cost for a member or student with a Nevada System of Higher Education ID is $25, for nonmember guests $35.
