Acting Ethics Commission director named

The Nevada Commission on Ethics has named commission counsel Yvonne Nevarez-Goodson as acting director until the commission names a permanent chair.

The post was vacated last week by Caren Cafferata-Jenkins who resigned amid allegations she abused her office to aide in her campaign for family court judge in Washoe County. She said the allegations were by a disgruntled former commission employee and would be proven false.
