Plenty of Halloween activities are slated

Here’s a list of some of the following events for Halloween:

Children’s Museum of Northern Nevada, 813 N. Carson St., is holding its annual trick-or-treating event at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center’s Spooktacular Stroll will be from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the north parking area at 1600 Medical Parkway. Besides trick-or-treating, the celebration offers a bounce house, booths, Care Flight helicopter and more.

The Governor’s Mansion, 606 N. Mountain St., is hosting trick-or-treating from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.

Carson Mall’s annual Safe Trick-or Treat event will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday.

First Baptist Church, 1750 Mountain St., will host its Trunk ‘n Treat event from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.

Trick-or-treating will take place at downtown businesses from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday as part of Carson City Downtown Business Association’s Candy Crawl. A map of the event is available at www.ccdowntown.com.
