The scene for a vehicle accident that happened in Mound House on Monday night.
A vehicle accident happened on Highway 50 in Mound House on Monday night when one of the vehicles turned into the path of another vehicle, the Nevada Highway Patrol stated.
The NHP stated it received the report of the accident shortly before 8 p.m. The driver of a Kia Sportage was heading east on Highway 50 when it turned it turned left into the path of a Chevy Trailblazer, the NHP stated
The driver of the Kia Sportage was taken by careflight to Renown Medical Center with head and lower extremity injuries. The NHP stated it believed the injuries weren’t life threatening. The driver of the trailblazer suffered head lacerations.
The NHP stated it believed alcohol was involved in the accident.
