Holmes marries Clark

Pastor John Ruby presided over the marriage of Kaitlyn Holmes and Danny Clark of Reno on June 14 at the groom’s parents’ ranch in Hallelujah Junction, Calif.

The bride was presented in marriage by her mother and father, Jamie and Mark Holmes of Carson City.

Lindy McDonald, the sister of the bride, was the matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Alexandra Schlager, Elayna Shine-Cooper and Emily Collins.

The groom’s brother Nick Clark was the best man. Groomsmen were Matt Cooper, Matt LeFebre and Brandon VanLancker.

Kellsee and Kamrynn McDonald and Leah Holmes were flower girls; Jacob and Dylan Holmes were ring bearers.

Holmes is a 2012 graduate of Carson High School and is attending the Orvis School of Nursing at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Clark is the son of Tracy and Ellen Clark of Reno. He is a 2011 graduate of Bishop Manogue High School. He is a licensed landscape contractor and owner of DRC Landscaping in Reno.

About 120 people attended the ceremony, which was followed by a barn ceremony.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Hawaii and plan to make their home in Reno.
