Spooner Summit accident Tuesday night caused by ice; no injuries

A single rollover accident happened Tuesday night on Highway 50 at mile marker 3, heading toward Spooner Summit.

Nevada Highway Patrol troopers say ice on the road was the cause of the accident that closed the highway down from 11:26 p.m. to 12:52 a.m.

Two people were trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated from the vehicle by fire crews, however neither person sustained any injuries. The vehicle sustained significant damage.
