Northern Nevada HotSpot is hosting a rummage sale and car wash fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 30 to help Sierra Terhune, a 13-year-old Gardnerville girl who recently had a tumor removed from her brain.
Terhune is still undergoing treatment, some of which isn’t covered by insurance. Proceeds raised at the event will help the Terhune family with medical bills and travel expenses.
The event will be at Grand Prix Express Car Wash, 1295 Highway 395 in Gardnerville, and in the parking lot next door. There will be live music by Joseph Greco, food, a bounce house, face painting, raffles, crafts and booths. Car washes will be available for $5 and up.
