Marco Rubio to appear in Carson City on Sept. 1

Republican presidential hopeful Marco Rubio will visit Carson City at 10 a.m. Sept. 1.

The Florida senator is kicking off his visit with a rally at the Peppermill casino in Reno the evening of Aug. 31. The next day, he’ll visit the Carson City Community Center before heading to Pioneer Crossing in Yerington at 2 p.m. and the Fallon Convention Center at 5:30 p.m.

Rubio most recently stopped in Southern Nevada in July.

Lt. Gov. Mark Hutchison is chairing his campaign in Nevada.

The events are open to the public, but guests are asked to RSVP by emailing Nevada@MarcoRubio.com.
