Silver Stage Elementary School’s inaugural turkey drive a success

Silver Stage Elementary School hosted its inaugural turkey drive, which treated students in the Silver Springs area Boys & Girls Clubs after school program to free turkeys, donated by Falcon Drilling, Inc. and the Whitehead family of Silver Springs. Volunteers helped hand out turkeys, getting everyone in the Thanksgiving spirit. Students from the Stand Tall Program of Silver Springs also helped. Maggie Whitehead took extra turkeys to the Friday Night Food Truck Bank in Silver Springs, where turkeys were shared with local residents.
