Nevada Appeal at 150: Nov. 23, 1969: Carson High School nears completion

The new Carson High School on U.S. Highway 50 E. will be occupied with students next year. The building will be used for junior high school level students and later for high school pupils. The first phase of construction, pictured above, will cost about $2 million. However, the master plan calls for additional buildings, a football field, gymnasium and auditorium, and the total figure for the high school is about $5 million.
