Cheers & Kudos: Thank you to Angel Tree participants

The Division of Child and Family Services would like to recognize the various individuals and businesses that contributed to its 2014 Angel Tree Project for foster children in care.

This project is extremely important because it helps to provide support to foster families during the holidays to make their foster children’s Christmas dreams come true. Because of the effort and support of individuals, businesses and agencies listed below, our children in foster care were able revel in the joy and happiness that every child should feel on Christmas morning.

A sincere debt of gratitude is owed to the following: A Finer Image Salon; Ms. Susan Palmer; Division of Health Care Financing & Policy; Starbucks; Ole Ole and Grill, Gold Dust West; Nevada Division of Environmental Protection; Department of Motor Vehicles, Director’s Office; Mr. and Mrs. Steven and Amber Howell; Casino Fandango; Health & Human Services, Director’s Office; LifePoint Church of Minden; U.S. Forest Service; Seeliger Elementary School; Harley Davidson; Ron Wood Family Resource Center, Youth Advisory Board; Sierra Financial Advisors, LLC; Airport Road Church of Christ; KBCA, LLC; Bureau of Child, Family & Community Wellness; Scott & Lisa Gasquoine; Department of Public Safety, Records Division; Jennifer Nelson and family; Sagebrush Model A Club; Nevada Attorney General’s Office; Carson Tahoe Health; Smith’s Food & Drug Center; Lakeside Properties; Carson City Public Works Department; Mrs. Denise Epperson; Ms. Kim Riggs; Ms. Shawna Barnes; Ms. Danette Kluever.

There were many others that assisted with this project but were not named above. To every individual that donated their time, talent and resources to make this program successful, much is owed.
