Carson City members celebrate Salvation Army’s 150th birthday

To celebrate the Salvation Army’s 150th birthday, Lts. Mark and Leslie Cyr and staff and volunteers at Carson City’s location have been out passing out food at the local hotels and apartment complexes.

The Salvation Army of Carson City provides school supplies, emergency food and lodging, utilities, holiday assistance, before school care, summer camp and other services to more than 18,000 people each year. For more information, go to carsoncitysalarmy.org.
