Posed band photo sends wrong message

Sir, Page A7 of the Appeal for Thursday, May 14, contains a photo of “John Houston and the Royal Flush.” The person who took that photo should be fired for posing the group on a railroad right-of-way.

Some years ago, a young man from Reno was killed when he crossed a Union Pacific track West of Reno. The Reno Gazette-Journal had a photographer pose his parents in the middle of a track. Aside from the fact, that trespassing on a railroad right-of-way is illegal — it can get you killed.
