Prize fight. Two young men of Virginia City, one named Wm. Harris, who is Cornish, and the other Wm. Lynn, who is an Irish, have agreed to contest their skill and endurance in the prize ring.

All sorts. A big stampede is on to discoveries at White Horse. R. E. L. Windle, formerly one of the publishers of the Winnemucca Silver State, is reported to have cleaned up $20,000 as one of the publishers of the Goldfield News.

Shower. Mrs. Frank Berger was the honored guest at a tea and shower given by Mrs. Frank Gregory, C. C. Boyer and George Egan. Those invited to participate were Mesdames Roy Whitacre, Elwood Rose, William Holcomb, Hugh Shamberger, Harold Berger, Joe Berger.
