Charles T. Sehe had a busy day on Thursday prior to his planned Friday return to his home in Minnesota.

During his visit to the Nevada State Museum, Sehe was presented with an uncirculated 1884 Carson City Silver Dollar by Marine Commandant Gary Armstrong on behalf of our Carson City Marine Crops League Silver State Detachment 630.

This Carson City uncirculated coin, donated by Alan Rowe of Northern Nevada Coin, was presented in front of the Carson City #1 Silver Press, shown above.

Sehe expressed his friendship and respect for the Marine detail that was serving with him aboard the USS Nevada in Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941.

Thursday he honored the Marines he served with and the Marines of Carson City by dining with them at their monthly meeting, in which he proudly accepted an Honorary Lifetime Marine Corps League membership.
