Hopes natural vegetation can be restored

Mr. Powell is correct on his commentary. My observation is that prior to the freeway completion to Fairview that the deer seldom crossed Carson Street. The reduced traffic seems to have removed or lessened that hazard barrier for them.

I am guessing that opening the next section may see them expand there territory more to the south of Fairview.

I guess we will know that in a few more years if the drought is still in place. Meantime we can all hope for a long snowy winter with a slow melt for the next couple years to restore the natural vegetation.
