Carson City health inspections

Carson City Health Department’s food-service inspections for April 1. All scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations:

Port of Subs, 3721 N. Carson St., scored 96 points. There was no chlorine residual in the disinfectant bucket. There was no certified food handler on duty, corrected on site.

Whiskey Tavern, 3481 E. Highway 50, scored 93 points. An employee’s dog was found in the bar, corrected on site. Self-closing mechanisms were missing from the bathroom doors.
