The Brewer’s Cabinet used local collaboration to make their seasonal brew

A little bit of hops. A sprinkle of barley. A touch of coffee. Viola … presenting Roasters Imperial Stout, a seasonal brew by The Brewer’s Cabinet, Imperial Bar and Lounge, and Hub Coffee Roasters. This full-bodied beer with smoky, coffee and caramel notes will be available starting mid-December 2016.

“We’ve had a great time working with Mark Trujillo at The Hub and Justin Owen at Imperial Lounge on creating this collaboration brew project. And after doing a limited release to the local Reno market and having it in our own pub at The Brewer’s Cabinet we have received a lot of great feed back on this collaboration beer in the past year. And people love it!” said Michael Connolly, owner of The Brewer’s Cabinet in a press release. “And an Imperial stout is great to launch during the winter and holiday season.”

Marking its second debut on the Reno market, this year Roasters Imperial Stout will be on tap at Imperial Bar and Lounge, Royce, Old Granite Street Eatery, Hub Coffee Tea & Eatery and The Brewer’s Cabinet.

There are also plans to do some Bourbon Barrel aging of Roaster’s Imperial Stout in Heaven Hills and Wild Turkey barrels. With plans on releasing in late 2017.
