Cheers & Kudos: Thanks for support of annual harvest dinner

It is with deep gratitude that The Greenhouse Project Board, Manager Cory King and I extend our thanks to the community for their generous support of the annual Celebrity Chef & Harvest Dinner. We were fortunate to showcase the culinary talents of Josh and Whitney Deri of Blend Catering, Reno alongside Charlie’s.

Thanks to our course sponsors Barbara and Paul D’Anneo, Lone Mountain Veterinary, Carson City Toyota, Nature’s Bakery, Holland & Hart LLP, and Abowd and Rose Financial Group; to our growers, Peri & Sons, Glorious Garlic Farm, Nancy’s Green Barn Farm, Alpine Ranch, Bently, Capital City FFA and 4-H member Lillie McKinney; and to Glorious Garlic Farm, Rob and Maria Watson and Cafe at Adele’s for donating amazing silent auction items.

Thanks to Carson High School students Sophia (Sophie) Waite and Shaylin Segura for taking on the Angel Donor fundraising and education aspect of GHP for their senior project; their participation helped raise money and awareness of what the Greenhouse does.

Finally, thanks to CHS Culinary Arts and FFA students, to agriculture teacher Charles Mann, culinary arts teacher Kasey Kemmet, and Michele Lewis, Carson City School District’s Career and Technical Education administrator for their help, and to the staff at Cafe at Adele’s for going above and beyond.
