Schimerhorn keeping the town alive: Our neighbors express it when they say, “If we only had 20 Schimerhorns here, the town would be 20 times as much alive.” The fact is Schimerhorn got out the Enterprise Band yesterday and set them to stating the fact in very melodious notes that the shooting match was still going on at the Race Track. P.S. Just after the above was written, Schimerhorn and the Band paid us a visit — up home. When they went away, they acted as if they had lubricated the paces that make the music flow. Thanks.

The latest report from Jarbridge on the stage hold up and murder of driver F.M. Search, came over the wire this afternoon. Sheriff Joe Harris phoned to say three had been arrested and are in custody.

Mrs. Troy Williams and Miss Louise Glover were hostesses Saturday at a stork shower honoring Mrs. Nelson Glover. Games wee played during the evening, with prizes awarded to Mrs. Dane Bullentini, Mrs. William Lewis, Mrs. William Schmidt and Mrs. Earl Williams.
